Do you still exist, I would like to update my Pro Mash program. I have not been able do so and have looked only to hit a wall of NOs. If I don't hear back from someone in 4 or 5 days I'll assume your gone and that would be a shame. I have 1.8a

I think the developers are out of business, because according to the message posted on their website, they should have been returned by now.

Here is what is says: "The full ProMash website will be back on 06-01-2015". There is also a logo on the page and that's it. It's impossible to say what is the current status of the developers and their apps.

I had my computer worked on. ProMash was gone. I re-downloaded and all my recipes were gone. Is there anything I can do?

If the recipes were stored in a folder in form of some one, then you can use a recovery application to get the data back. Access the Recuva's application page at Software Informer and download it. Install the application and then use the Wizard guide. Make sure to choose all formats if you don't know the exact file extension and guide the wizard to look into the folder where you believe the data is stored on.

TIP: Enable Deep Search to increase accuracy for finding the correct files.

Is there any way to use the Promash with Windows 8?

S
Answer by Sean Hill

No, there is no official way to run the application on Windows 8 because it has been discontinued. I have checked its official website, and it's said that the company's activity will return in 2015, but 1 year passed and still nothing was posted. On another website, Promash is listed as item has been discontinued.

However, at this time the only way to run the software on Windows 8 is through virtualization. This means you will have to install Windows XP/7 through Virtualbox. The computer must have Virtualization support and enough RAM and CPU processing power to have seamless functionality.

You can download Virtualbox using the following website: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
